if the furnishings were purchased but I do know that a) yes, Cuz has
serious coin, b) there was talk of keeping the house and using it for family gatherings and renting it out the rest of the time (either a VERY nice AirBNB or a wedding venue) and c) the amount of rooms was stupid. The basement alone had a room with a pool table, another room with a bar and a card table, a den-type room and, at the end, a large unfurnished room that Cuz was going to let the buyer decide what to turn it into. He was saying home gym/dance studio; we were saying ballroom or maybe a roller skating rink.
Honestly, as nice as the house is (and the houses surrounding it), I wouldn't want to live there, unless I shared the space with a dozen others. It's simply too much house for me. Also of note: Bratenahl is right up against the lake. Its southern border is I-90; cross the freeway and you're in a decidedly LESS nice part of town (South Collinwood/East Cleveland).
