I liked Savannah, but I was only there one day and really just for a few hours (we were on the way to Florida for my grandfather's funeral and spent the morning there after stopping to spend the night outside Savannah).
I loved the food in New Orleans but other than that I wasn't that impressed - I would have liked to have gone elsewhere in the city other than the French Quarter, maybe I'd like that more. I was there for training though so not much time to sightsee. The French Quarter though...it smelled like pee and booze and other unsavory things. And while I do drink, I don't drink like that (and this was 14 years ago).
