so we can add a sunroom and/or a she/he shed in the back for my office and workout room.

Both are just below $1,200 sf...but we could add on.

One is $529K- appears to be turnkey. In nice shape, although the exterior is a boring gray. They have an open house on Saturday so LW and I will check it out.

The other is listed at $520 but needs the entire interior remodeled. It has mauve carpets. Ick. The yard also needs work. Allegedly they've taken care of everything else. It's a lavender house - M and I already love that. LOVE. He's already like OMG we could do our 70s retro style thing with this house. This is the first time he's seen a house and imagined what could be done with it.

BUT $520K when it will need like $50K in upgrades? Nope. The listing claims that is all that needs fixed but we will see.

IF we say yes to the house, we'd probably go in much lower - $470K - which is more appropriate. They could take it or not.

Either way, we need to see the MLS specs. They claim only the remodel is needed but realtors and sellers LIE, so nope. Plus we have a VA and they will not let you buy a house that needs a lot of body work, so to speak.
