Waiting for the landscapers to start. The landscaper let me know last week that he might not start on Monday (he didn't) because he has to finish off some work that had a few rain delays. He will start some time this week and the entire job should take about two weeks...maybe a bit longer.
My daughter and I spent Saturday moving the stuff we wanted to keep (minus the stuff we broke in the process) onto the patio. My daughter tried to tip over a 55(?) gallon plastic container of water to dump the water before we moved it instead of letting my pump out the water. The barrel split and kinda shattered in a few places. Can't save that. They also don't bounce, even if you toss empty ones onto tall weeds in an effort to move the barrel. I still have one left. I'll give it to my finance guy if he wants it.
I think we're set for the landscaping to start. We have wide arm concepts, but not detailed specifics. I'm not sure if/how the landscaper is going to do the firepit/fire feature (wood burning), sod, or pavers. I'm really curious about the pollinator garden and its chances of survival with my brown thumb.
I found a tote with pellets! I'd used it for composting, and they were still dry!!! I thought about getting a pellet grill. I have a beat up old barbecue grill. It'll do for now.
I still have to clear out the second bedroom; but I made some progress Saturday(?) when I had to get to a case of bottled water because my RO system wasn't working. No RO system in the new sink yet. Not until October 28th. No word on when I'm going even get a visit for an estimate about batteries or a window for having them installed. My solar guys are booked through the end of the year, in part because the credits ends at the end of the calendar year.
Patiently waiting. I can almost seen the end from here...if I don't include the bathroom remodel and odds and ends. I'm not thinking about them. To quote Scarlett, "I'll think about it tomorrow."
