especially useful during my most recent leg injury. I did not, however, order groceries during the 3 weeks when my elevator was down. Lugging heavy groceries up to the sixth floor would have been too much to ask. Plenty of people would think that’s the perfect time to order groceries (when your elevator is out of service) but not me. It was the perfect time to eat what I already had in the pantry, fridge and freezer. And friends brought small stuff like milk, bread, fruit and restaurant takeout.

I don’t do all my grocery shopping online via delivery. Maybe half of it. The half that isn’t from my favorite grocery store — Trader Joe’s — because, unfortunately, TJ’s doesn’t do delivery. I find grocery delivery to be so convenient. I can watch a TV show and do laundry while I’m waiting for the delivery. I guess, for me, grocery delivery is the opposite of stressful.
