the week before my summer vacation back in August, I decided i needed to get my body moving in a healthy way.
so i started walking. i have a lot of back issues, so i had to start slow. the first week my walks were maybe 10-15 minutes, and I've built upon that in time and distance, so now I'm up to a solid 35 minutes of walking.
I do it in the morning, so I don't talk myself out of it, or claim I have 'too much work' in the afternoons. and honestly, it's going to start getting too dark in the afternoons to walk and I'm in this for the long haul.
have I lost weight? probably. but truly, i have a lot fewer digestive issues, more energy (kind of) and it's just NICE to have a solid half hour to myself.
Here's to weeks 10-15!!
