The landscaper and team have shifted lots of dirt across the yard and laid the landscaping sheets and sand before putting down the pavers next to the shed. They added a silica gel to fill in the gaps between the pavers and cut some pavers into odd shapes so they'd fit the space better.

In unexpected bad news, one of the dogs was being silly in the yard and hurt her left front paw. I tried some hydrogen peroxide and Neosporin. She's limping a bit, but she's probably going to be tender/sore for a few days. She was very protective of it when I tried to pour on the hydrogen peroxide (so there was an open cut somewhere) and didn't want me to apply the Neosporin. Hoping for better tomorrow.

The landscaper was scraping and angling the area next to the garage where more pavers are going so my daughter will have a better parking space. They also cut back some of the branches from the eucalyptus tree that overhangs the fenceline. I'm not sure if they also cut some of the roots. (I can hope.) Tomorrow they'll finish with the landscaping material, sand, and laying the pavers.

Tomorrow is also sod prep day, if all goes well. They'll put down the irrigation lines and set up the automatic irrigation system. No word yet if we'll get sod. It's late in the season.

We discussed the overflow system for the water tank. Instead of an underground pipe, we're going to have an open ditch that's lined with larger rocks or something and angled to "encourage" to water flow towards the gate and into the front yard, eventually reaching the street.

If all goes well, most of this will be done by Thursday. My landscaping will be done. No word on the distant date for the batteries.
