yeah, i know, first world problems.
I have had this keurig for YEARS! it has a large reservoir that I still need to refill once a week, it makes regular coffee, expresso, lattes (separate foamer, warm or cold!) cappuccino, in 4 different sizes. and I make iced lattes in this thing all summer long.
Wednesday, I took my morning walk and went to make my first cup and.....the machine turned off when i pressed "brew." Confused, I unplugged the machine, plugged it back in and tried again....nope. so off I went to Dunkin to get a latte.
All day Wednesday I was tooling with the damn thing - did it need descaling? no. was the water heating? yes! was the pump working? not really.
Wednesday night I spent looking online for a replacement and getting kind of annoyed that I couldn't find one for less than $250....NO! I didn't spend half that on the first one. Then a little more research revealed Keurig doesn't even MAKE that model anymore. I suspect they don't make it anymore for a reason, so I got over the fact that I needed a NEW machine.
and now it's Thursday and I still have no way of making coffee. i DO have an old pot, but I haven't used it in over a DECADE and I don't have any ground coffee in the house. Off to Dunkin again.
Thursday i finally just did some research on a new Keurig, because they have a zillion different ones, and I found one that will be delivered this afternoon.
So off to Dunkin again this morning. at this point, I've spent over $15 in coffee beverages over 3 days and that is unacceptable. if this new machine does not arrive today i'm going to lose my mind, and only have myself to blame. ha
