before the surgery and for a while afterwards, but only if I didn't take the pain meds as directed.
I was unable to walk for roughly 6 weeks; I had a scooter that I rested my left knee on to get around. Then I was still in the boot but finally able to walk. A few weeks of that and finally back in a sneaker.
That spring through fall I had some minor pain if I walked a lot in 1 day or stood on concrete for long periods of time.
I've got a bunion on my right foot and I'm hesitating on doing anything with it. I can't see myself driving left-footed.
