it’s soapy and campy and sometimes quite fun. The cast is wasted a lot of the time, but the bench they’ve got there is pretty impressive, and the wardrobes they’re swanning around in are to die for. Yes, there are lines like “Ex sex workers have busy boxes.” They hit you in the face with their brave, feminist viewpoints. 🙄I could do without seeing someone swallow after giving a bj, and Sarah Paulson’s character has a potty mouth the likes of which I have never, ever encountered. In short, there is much you could legitimately criticize. I just think the whole thing is so over the top that I can’t possibly be expected to take it at face value. I made it thru the first three episodes anyway. I may or may not watch the fourth.
I can see this falling dead flat with the average audience, but for some soap fans, it might be a different story. 😉
