I'd always buy Martin's Potatobred (not a misspelling, lol) Stuffing Cubes. At least one bag, sometimes two, because the recipe is from Mr. Kris's grandmother and it makes a MASSIVE amount of stuffing. I halve it, the original recipe called for 8 eggs and two loaves of bread!
Anyway, I asked him to look at the store last night for it while he was there; it's not usually at the stores I get most of my groceries from and he was at a different one so I figured I'd have him check. No dice. I searched this morning, because I'm probably going to get some groceries after work, and discovered it was discontinued after Easter! The Martin's website has a tutorial on how to make my own, like I'm going to pay out the ying-yang for their bread when there's cheaper just as good potato bread out there.
It's just annoying, because it made things a lot easier. Plus I already cut my thumb this week with my giant serrated bread knife so I was hoping to avoid having to use it, lol.
