It's actually chilly out and we will get nearly 2" of rain this week. So, approaching normal rainfall for the year!
Separately...I was shocked at how low our utility bills are. We have a gas furnace and a gas hot water heater. Our water takes forever to heat up (Pipes run through the crawlspace, and yet our March gas bill was just $8 and electric was $78. City Services are by far the most expensive.
We do keep the heat quite low, so that helps a lot.
I think we're gonna get solar..SMUD has this incredible deal. Between that and our Whole House Fan, summer electric bills should hopefully be tolerable.
