could not finish the original Stranger Things. I watched the first three seasons and could not face two more seasons of these kids fighting more monsters. I do not understand why this show is so popular. Eighties nostalgia was not enough to keep me engaged. I found the story/plot to be boring and repetitive. But more importantly, after watching three seasons, I did not care about any of the characters and some of them I flat out did not like. I started watching Stranger Things around the same time I started Reservation Dogs and I cared almost immediately about all of the RD characters. ST really suffered by comparison to RD, which I loved. Four kids I didn’t like (except maybe Dustin a little) vs four kids I loved. I also have no interest in Stranger Things, the Broadway musical.
