William and Jamie finally they their breakthrough. This is the first time I was truly able to understand the depths of William's hurt. He has been carrying trauma of the truth about how he came to be and the lies were suffocating him and he release that by being a jerk.

"I loved you. You were the one person who I wanted to emulate. The day you left, I called to you and you didn't even look back. I didn't know it at the time, but you were my father. You knew it and you left me. Why did you leave me?"

And with that we get to see that even though Lord John gave him a wonderful life, filled with love, manners, grace and respect. He NEVER forgot about Mac the groomer. That one image of his niece being trained by Jamie brought back a wave of emotion for him. The confrontation was short but still powerful. They each apologized to each other and William finally got to see that his bio dad does love him and regrets leaving him behind. He realized it was genuine and with that, he hugged his father and cried. He could finally exhale and unload some of the trauma/baggage that has been plaguing him. I am happy for Jamie but from his POV, the moment fell a bit flat. He has wanted this for so long--I would have thought he would have cried as well or held him tighter vs just rubbing his back and for goodness sakes--tell your son you LOVE him not LOVED. I mean, William could still call Lord John Pa-pa and call Jamie...Da! I guess Jamie will still end up with whatsherface. I do enjoy Brianna and William's relationship.

Other Stuff:
Brianna is pregnant. Did I miss the announcement? I just happened to notice her baby bump.

Marsali is pregnant too. That makes Fergus' death even more sad. I'm glad she's taking the money.

Big whoop--Frannie has time travel ability. We get it. We already knew she was their granddaughter. Overkill much?

Just two more episodes and still so much to resolve. Clearly, they cannot get to all of it.

Loved what Clair said to William. Also glad that he immediately apologized for insulting her. And she was right that he didn't just come to see Bri. He also came to see Jamie.
