I deliberately waited till Dad was out to tackle the project, partly because I wanted to prove I could do it myself (along with YT guy) and partly because I knew Dad wouldn't be able to resist meddling...I mean helping. He was pretty impressed...and he knew even without me hinting at it *exactly* which step I screwed up on at first (being sure to remove the wingnut as I was unscrewing the old seat--I was watching on mute and neither saw what YT guy was doing under the seat nor heard what he was doing).
