A strange question.

As I have mentioned... I am making a fairy garden... and therefore making fairy houses.

I have discovered that one of the things that are very common in fairy houses and fairy gardens are ladders.

At first I didn't think much of this... then a couple of days ago I though... "why do fairy's need ladders... they have wings and fly?"

So does anyone know why fairy houses often have ladders... my theory is that fairy's commonly have relations with gnomes and the ladders for their gnome friends.
