a number of people who think "Big Bird" is too expensive. My dad's one of them; he does almost all of his grocery shopping at Walmart and only gets things at the GE in our town (the only main grocery store we have in our town) one or two at a time, and only if he's desperate and doesn't feel like driving any distance. His sister, who lives one street over from us, only ever shops at GE if it's a special deal on a special day, such as when they have pot pies or apple pies for $3.14 on Pi Day.
I try not to do too much shopping at GE, especially the one in my town which is on the small side and often doesn't have what I went for (there's a reason Dad and I call our GE "the Giant Disappointment"). But occasionally they have really good deals.
