Do you read one book at a time or do you usually have two (or more!) books going at any given time? And if you're a "one at a time" reader, do you immediately dive into your next read or do you give it some time before picking up another book?
I almost never have two books going at once, though for a while now, I've been making an exception due to having so much difficulty getting through Far From the Madding Crowd. I've also been letting some time lapse between books--usually a day, sometimes two. I'm not sure why...I do this even if I didn't like the book I'd just finished or it wasn't that thought-provoking of a read. On the day(s) after finishing a book, I might read a magazine or spend extra time looking at posts on my phone; sometimes I'll check out fanfiction, though I've not been as into fanfics the last few years, mainly because there's no show I'm currently obsessed with.
