We bought a sofa and love seat combo for our shore house when we were renting it out each summer. It was super cheap and we figured if the quality matched the price, that's okay because renters are hard on stuff. Well, they turned out to be pretty sturdy!
Anything we've gotten from them has been super easy to put together.
Then we got a couch and love seat combo when we bought our house in FL in late 2019. Loved it! About 2 years later we needed to replace the same furniture back home in PA and we ordered the exact same thing, but in a different color. It was delayed due to Covid supply chain issues for almost a year. When it finally showed up......what a disappointment. The quality went WAY WAY down.
I would encourage her to check the thrift shops, etc.
