Zander asks Carly to leave

Carly looks from Zander to Emily, the impact of the moment finally sinking in.
''Sure, I'll go grab a bite to eat. Catch you later,'' she said, making a quick exit.
''Okay, what was that all about?'' Zander's heart was already breaking as he struggled to find the words he would use to break hers.
''Em, sweetheart, I have always loved you. And I never would have given up on you. But your family refused to give my any iformation, you refused to see me - no one even told me you had recovered! A part of me will always belong to you. But while you were away, I moved on. Carly wormed her way into my heart, and I really love her. She is going to have my baby.''

What happens next?
Emily slaps Zander, and leaves in tears.
Emily understands and gives Zander a big hug, wishing him the best.
