Alexis recalls her shooting

...Alexis shuddered as she remembered AJ's face, the anger and the hatred that turned it beet red, as he pushed his way into the room. She saw the the gun leveled at Sonny and walked towards AJ to calm him down. In a split second all of his anger turned on her.

''You bitch!'' He screamed. ''You kept me away from my son! You convinced the courts to give Michael to Sonny! It's all your fault!'' The gun swung away from Sonny and towards Alexis. She saw the muzzle flash.

''No!'' Sonny screamed as he jumped AJ. Too late Alexis felt herself slipping to the floor...

''The dreams will fade Alexis.'' Sonny voice was soothing. ''Carly is dead and AJ will never get out of prison. They can't hurt you anymore.'' He wrapped his arms around Alexis, planting soft kisses on her shoulder.

''They hurt you more than they ever hurt me. I'm glad they can't hurt you anymore. And you're right. The dreams will fade.” Alexis turned to face Sonny. They shared a passionate kiss “From now on, I'm going to concentrate on the future, on our life together.''
