Taggert and the paramedics

Taggert burst in, with his gun drawn. He held the paramedics behind him as he scanned the room.

''Over here!'' Sonny motioned to the paramedics. Alexis' head was cradled in his lap. Sonny's hand pressed against the wound in her abdomen. ''Help her, please!''

The paramedics started for Alexis but Taggert held them back. ''Nobody is going anywhere until I know it's safe! Sonny, let me see your hands!''

Sonny raised his free hand high, but refused to remove his other hand from Alexis' wound. ''Let the paramedics in Taggert! Please! She's bleeding to death!''

''I need to see you're unarmed Sonny!'' Taggert aimed his gun at Sonny's head. ''I've got to see your other hand.''

''I can't! Can't you see Alexis is hurt. I have to keep pressure on the wound. Look my gun is right there on the floor. Let the paramedics in!''

Taggert advanced toward Sonny. He kicked Sonny's gun across the floor and placed the barrel of his gun against Sonny's head. With his free hand, he motioned the paramedics in. ''Okay guys, come on in.''

What happens next?
The paramedics work on Alexis
Taggert shoots Sonny
