Penny! She escaped with the video tape and a witness to testify against Sonny.

Ric went to meet Penny and view the tape. They discussed her story and information. As it got later Ric thought of Liz waiting in the room and then he thought of the team he and Penny had made. Liz was a whiny waitress and Penny was his true partner in all ways that mattered.

What happens next?
Ric asks Penny how she feels about him.
Ric moves closer and closer as they talk
