Very late in life, Mikkos had a (another) passionate affair resulting in Courtney. Helena, naturally, has no clue (Courtney IS still breathing, you know). Courtney spent her life poor, knowing she was entitled to more power and wealth than most people can imagine. Being aware of her relationship, she has no desire to do battle with the Cassadine's. So she chose an easier target - Sonny. She posed at Mike's daughter, Sonny's half-sister, in order to gain his trust then bring him to his knees - stealing his power and fortune in the process.
