Zander hears Alexis' plee

''Oh my God! Nicholas! Zander call 911'', screams Alexis. Nicholas lies motionless on the floor, bleeding from the gunshot wound. With a devilish sneer Helena says, ''We are not finished'' as she scurries out the door. Alexis sits on the floor with Nicholas' head in her lap. His eyes are open, his breathing short, but he is motionless and says nothing. ''It's OK Nicholas, I'm here'', says Alexis as she careeses his cheek, but Nicholas has no expression as he stares to the ceiling.

Zander runs to the door in pursuit of Helena but is met by one of Helena's goons twice Zander's size. They grapple, but Zander is no match, especially in his weakened condition. He is tossed to the floor and writhes in pain. He moans in a low graveled voice, ''That wretched, evil witch will not get away with this.'' The goon gives him one last kick while he is down and exits.

What happens next?
Gia enters the room
Nicholas arrives at General Hospital
