Elizabeths studio and waits for her

Jason stares out the window of Elizabeth's studio. He watches as, on the street below, a black van speeds by. In the front seat are two men dressed in black. In the back of the van sits a beautiful older woman. She does not speak. She cannot. She glances up at the road ahead and a scar is revealed. It extends across her neck, from ear to ear.

She looks back down at the precious cargo they are carrying. A woman lies in a gurney connected to a heart monitor. The slow steady beat of her heart can be heard over the racing of the van's engine.

'My beautiful, beautiful daughter. I will take care of you.' Kristin Bergman thought as her hand reached out and caressed Alexis' cheek.
