Sonny falls to his feet and weeps uncontrollably
Zander breaks away from Alexis and throws Sonny to the ground.

What happens next?''Mr. Smith, the doctor says solemnly,''we've done all we could I'm sorry...'' '' What about the baby? Did you save our baby?'' Zander exclaimed choking down tears. The doctor, puzzled ,looks back & forth from Sonny to Alexis and then again to Zander. '' Mrs. Corithos was not pregnant. What ever gave you that idea?'' '' But she said... Alexis, Sonny , you both heard her...why would she have..why?'' Zander sobbed into Alexis's waiting arms. With a stoic expression on his face, Sonny says, '' She was still in love with me.She just wanted me to prove I loved her- to fight for her...if I had only...what have I done?''
