She saw Sonny & Jason

Sonny and Jason approached Carly's room. They were suprised to hear her voice.

''I thought you said she was dead?'' Sonny looked at his right-hand man with annoyance.

''She should be dead. I shot her five times!'' Jason looked from Carly to Sonny then back to Carly again. ''I'll take care of this Sonny. You asked me to get rid of Carly and I will!'' He reached into his jacket and moved toward the door.

Suddenly the wail of alarms filled the room.

''She's coding!'' Dr Monica Quartermain pulled the paddles from the crash cart and tried to shock Carly back to life. She used every bit of her medical skill to save the mother of her grandson. She failed.

An autopsy revealed that Carly had a massive brain hemorrhage. There was a genetic weakness in the arteries in her brain. Nothing could be done to save her. Her death was inevitable from the moment of her conception.

Carly's funeral was a small affair, attended by Sonny, Jason, Michael and Bobbie. Her ashes were dropped off pier 51 into the river.
