Courtney Forgives Penny

She knows Penny was just doing her job. And even though she loved Jason and Sonny and wanted them both safe and out of jail, she also deep down knew that the police were the good guys and her boyfriend and brother were living wrong lives. This made Courtney decide to get Jason out of the mob. She knew Sonny would end up quitting too without Jason to protect him. Courtney decided to get pregnant on purpose and then tell Jason that she was moving away with the baby because she wanted it safe and to lead a good life.
