“What’s happening?” AJ stammered, backing away quickly as Kristina convulsed, only this time she was aware of it, too. Her eyes looked up at him helplessly and she cried out in pain and frustration. She screamed his name, but the tremors overtaking her body distorted the sound into a garbled, animalistic howl.

Skye shrieked and nearly knocked Nikolas over as she ran to the door, throwing it open. “Something’s wrong!” she gasped.

Stefan spun around, glaring at his mother. “What have you done?”

Alexis held Kristina’s hand until the seizure subsided. Her sister looked exhausted, but responsive, she hadn’t reverted into her trance.

“AJ?” Kristina murmured.

AJ was afraid to approach her again.


Helena moaned as Jax dug the handkerchief from her mouth. She licked her lips then grinned wickedly. “His touch is her punishment,” she announced. “They ruined my plans, and now I have tainted theirs.”

“No,” Kristina cried, knowing what Helena had done to her.

“I warned you, my dear,” Helena reminded her. “If you failed me, you would regret it. You can still correct this…”

Kristina looked up at AJ with desire, love, and longing. Then her gaze shifted to Nikolas, anger permeating her expression.

What happens next?
''This is all YOUR fault!'' she screamed.
