Jason prays the scent of gunpowder is just Elizabeth's new perfume.

Across town, Jason Morgan was parking his motorcycle outside the safe house. Elizabeth had called, sounding frantic. She begged him to meet her.

''Elizabeth!'' he called as he burst through the door. ''Are you here? Are you hurt?''

''I'm fine, Jason,'' she said. ''But I'm not sure how long that will be true.''

''What happened?'' Jason asked. ''What's wrong?''

''I did something terrible,'' she said.

''Whatever it is, we can fix it,'' Jason said. ''You just have to trust me.''

''Oh, Jason,'' she said falling into his fully clothed arms. ''I don't know what to do.''

What happens next?
''I shot Sonny.''
''I shot Sam.''
