Carly tells Zander that Sonny is his father. And her unborn baby's grandfather.
Carly lies to Zander because of his vulnerable state.

Zander starts to cry, and Sonny leans in to hug his on for the first time.
What happens next?Zander cries out, ''NO! It can't be!'' He pushes Sonny away. ''You are not my father! Your lying! You'd say anything to try and keep me from Carly.''
Sonny shouts ''IT'S THE TRUTH! I AM your FATHER!''
Zander: ''NO! You tried to kill me! You'd never do that if I was your son.''
Sonny: ''You'd be dead NOW if you WEREN'T my son''
Zander:''NO! Your lying!'' The moniters alarms start to go off. ''GET OUT OF HERE!''
Monica rushes into the room.
''YOUR NOT MY FATHER!''
Monica: ''Sonny, Leave Now! He can't get upset!''
Sonny starts for the door ''AND I'LL NEVER LET YOU TAKE HER FROM ME! NEVER!''
Monica:''Zander! You HAVE to calm down!
Sonny leaves the room just as Carly is rushing in.''What did you do to him!'' she screams at him. Sonny gives her his dark stare then leaves.
Carly:''Monica, Is he going to be alright!''
Monica, '' Yes, Carly, he'll be fine this time. I've givin him a mild sedative, but he HAS to remain calm. Until he's fully recovered he can't continue to raise his blood pressure like that. Please try not to upset him again.''
Carly, ''Oh God! OK! Thank You Monica!''
Monica leaves.
Zander ''Carly...''
Carly, ''Shhhh...I'm right here sweety''
Zander '' Is it true? Is Sonny my father?''
