AJ and Kristina - Taking A Chance On Love

''I think I'm pregnant.''

AJ hit the brakes, nearly sending them both headlong through the windshield. He absently thought that option would seem preferable to the ones he’s facing now.

“You’re lying,” he accused.

Kristina shook her head. “I’m not. I took a test, AJ. It was positive.”

He closed his eyes, his head falling to the steering wheel. “What now?” he sighed.

Running her fingers through his hair, Kristina tried to coax him out of his despair. She had pictured this turning out so differently – with AJ loving her unconditionally. Now he was racing to save the life of his ex and his daughter. She saw the love in his eyes that he still held for Keesha.

“We could take off,” Kristina recklessly proposed. “We could go somewhere where even Helena wouldn’t find us. We can be happy, AJ. I swear I can make you forget…”

“Forget what? That I had two children before this one – and lost them both? I know I’ll never pry Michael away from his mother, but I can do something to save my daughter. I won’t let Helena kill her.”

Kristina’s expression hardened. “But you’ll watch me gut Nikolas to spare her life,” she challenged. “Is that it?”

What happens next?
AJ doesn't answer, but he drives her to the docks and they head to Wyndemere.
