Jax and Justus come in, guns blazing

“Well, nice of you to drop in, baby brother,” Jerry greeted Jax with a smile.

Justus was shocked to see Keesha. A grin lit up his face. Finally, he thought with relief. “Hey, lil’bit,” he swept her into his arms for a big hug.

“Justus!” Keesha clung to him, trying in vain to hold back her tears. “I knew you’d find us!”

“You know it,” he nodded, setting her down and peering at her weary face. “Where’s Mary?”

Keesha’s eyes went wide with fear. “I thought you’d found her. Helena’s men took her from me this morning. I haven’t seen her since.”

Skye wrung her hands. Her nerves were on edge and she could feel the effects of Kinder’s self-appointed drug therapy. Her body was screaming for more. She shivered.

Jax could tell something was wrong with Skye. “Let’s get out of here,” he suggested.

She nodded, but when he went to pick her up, she grabbed his gun, aiming it at her ex. She pulled the trigger. The bullet ripped through Jonathan’s right hand, sending a couple of fingers flying. Everyone in the room jumped at the sound.

“Let’s see how useful he is to Helena now,” Skye murmured.

What happens next?
