''Sonny, you know I love...'' Carly's eyes rolled back and she sank to the floor, falling apparently lifeless, between Taggert's desk and the hooker's seating area.

''Carlybabes! Is that you?'' Popeye Palmetto the madame to the largest brothel in Port Charles has just entered the station house to bail out some of her 'girls'. She gives Carly a tap on the shoulder with the tip of stiletto heel encased toe. ''Come on honey, I've caught this act before. Remember you stayed with me after you took your 'fatal leap into the lake'? Oh by the way I still have a couple of customers that ask about you. If you need any extra spending cash..''

''You were hooking while you were dead?'' Sonny was flabbergasted.

''I knew it! I knew she nothing but a skan...''

''Alexis! You know you're a better woman than that.'' Marcus Taggert gently pulled her aside. ''I overheard your conversation with Sonny. Are you really pregnant?''

''What of it Taggert?'' Alexis looked up at Taggert's surprisingly compassionate eyes.

''Well, if your looking for someone to play daddy, I know a certain police lieutenant who might be interested in the job.'' Marcus pressed his lips to hers, gently probing with his tongue.
