Alexis stays put

Marcus and Alexis stood close, their foreheads gently touching. Marcus leaned in for a quick but urgent kiss. ''Come with me counselor. I think you'll find life on the right side of the law quite pleasant.''

The law, Alexis remembered why she was at the police station and sighed. ''Marcus, you've given me alot to think about, but right now we have to deal with the law. I'm a lawyer and you're a cop. We've both got jobs to do.''

Marcus was disappointed but undaunted. Alexis was reluctant but not entirely unwilling. He knew she was affected by their kiss, same as he was. ''Okay counselor, I'll see if I can get your client before a judge post haste.'' He smiled as he guided her back to Sonny, his hand resting comfortably on the small of her back.

Sonny looked up from deadCarly, past Taggert with his hands on Alexis and sees Zander enter.
