What happens next?''What?'' AJ asked.
''You heard what I said, AJ,'' Kristina calmly replied.
''Wha...I thought everything was going well between us. Now, after so many months you mean to tell me that you have fallen for Ned? For Ned? Ned?'' AJ asked, obviously flabbergasted.
''Well, I've been meaning to tell you. I don't want to accept your engagement if my heart isn't entirely devoted to you.''
AJ looked away, heartbroken.
''I love you Kristina. I don't want you to get hurt,'' AJ said as the tears began to well up in his eyes. He rushed off.
Kristina sighed and slightly frowned. However, she quickly changed her lips into the form of a smile as she saw Ned approaching her.
''Ned!''
''Kristina, hi. I want to talk to you.''
Kristina watched him intently.
