He knew he shouldn't be doing this. Kristina was unpredictable, and leading a dingo right into the nursery wasn't exactly the smartest move on his part, but he WANTED to trust her. Just this once he hoped she'd prove him wrong - show him that she really wasn't out for blood.

''I'm warning you, Kristina,'' he sternly advised her from the doorway of the salon. ''If Nikolas Cassadine catches us, I'm telling him everything.''

She glanced at Jax over her shoulder and rolled her eyes. ''Please,'' she huffed. ''He's probably upstairs in bed right now with Gia Campbell, having his cake and eating it, too.''

Jax's jaw tightened at her brazen animosity, but disliking her nephew wasn't the same as carrying out Helena's orders to kill him. Kristina was trying to put a stop to this now... he hoped.

''Here it is!'' she cried out, picking up the music box. ''God, I can't believe Helena left it right here, of all places. Then again, I didn’t even consider it until our conversation…”

''You needed this music box?” Jax questioned.

Kristina whirled around, a hopeful smile on her face. “It will deprogram AJ,” she announced. “The music will set him free.”

What happens next?
Kristina suddenly wonders if that's what she really wants.
Before they can sneak out, Nikolas descends the stairs, surprised to see them.
