David breaks down at Dixie's house when he sees the Christmas decorations. He tells her that it was the Christmas when he was twelve years old that his father committed suicide. He tells Dixie all about hearing his mother, Vanessa, telling his father how she wanted a divorce and that she had finally found a "real" man. Vanessa kept taunting David's father about killing himself and telling him that he didn't have the guts. David said his father was still laying in his arms when the police arrived. He had bled to death. Then, in a shocking moment of vulnerability, David confesses to Dixie that he is in love with her!

Liza interrogates Tad about offering Leslie a ride when she catches them at the clinic. Liza accuses Tad of having that look of guilt on his face and then says that Tad and Leslie have something going on. Liza then asks Tad why he is having tests done at the clinic and he makes a lame excuse that Liza isn't going for. Tad then tells Liza that Leslie is now on retainer for Chandler
Enterprises. Liza is upset but Tad explains that Leslie did it herself, in front of Dixie, as her excuse for showing up at their home and Tad was caught in a position where he couldn't very well say no. Tad then admits to Liza about his worsening predicament with Leslie. Tad tells Liza that ever since the party, Leslie has not stayed away from Tad and is acting almost crazy. Liza
suggests that Tad go to New York to do some damage control with the investors after the party and drug media mess. They both agree that maybe while Tad is out of town Leslie will come to her senses.
Tad calls to tell Dixie that he is going to New York for a few days. When Dixie hangs up the phone and turns around, David is gone!

Leslie calls David to discuss the Tad/Dixie situation. David tells her that Tad is on his way to New York! Leslie decides that she should also go to New York and that would be a perfect way for her to get Tad alone.

Erica asks Leo to pick up Bianca from school and take her out to eat. Erica thinks that Bianca needs cheering up and feels that Leo is just the person to do it. Greenlee is not happy! She tells Leo that he is not the one that should always have to be Bianca's personal "rescuer" on call 24/7. Leo tries to explain that he doesn't mind but Greenlee makes it very clear that she does
mind! Then, when Leo pushes for a completion to her statement about what happened to Laura on the yacht at Ryan's party, Greenlee tells Leo that it was Bianca who pushed Laura overboard! Leo doesn't believe it and Greenlee tries to convince him that it was probably because she was drugged and thought Laura was Sara.

Bianca and Laura become allies, and become the brunt of the high schools latest cruel jokes. Later, Laura tells Bianca that she remembers that she was pushed overboard the night of the party. Just as she is saying this, Leo and Greenlee walk up behind Bianca.

Alex's broach was found by the divers. Dimitri accuses Edmund of taking the broach off of Alex before kidnapping her. Dimitri tells Edmund he is sick, and Edmund tells Dimitri that with everything Dimitri has pulled in his own life, how could Dimitiri call Edmund sick. Derrick listens as Dimitri reiterates his theory about Edmund to him. However, Derrick tells Dimitri that he isn't
being rational. Later, Dimitri tells Derrick that he has decided to file assault charges against Edmund.

Adam and Marion are on Ryan's yacht. They decide that Adam should go to Europe and come back with a divorce from Arlene. Liza shows up after Adam has left the yacht and Marion tells Liza that Adam went to Europe to get his divorce. Liza decides to go with him, despite objections from Marion, and quickly departs to catch Adam before he leaves.
