All My Children Update for Monday, 15-Jan-2001

Haley and Mateo bunk at Adam’s crib since their place was trashed. Despite a jumpy Liza, Adam refuses to believe that Arlene is back in town and responsible for vandalism weird happenings. Meanwhile, a face-less Arlene puts a gift in Colby’s bed along with a note that reads “confess.” Liza freaks out when she finds the present and demands that Adam take action. Adam looks at the security tape and realizes the woman that left the gift may actually be Arlene. Mateo goes to the bar Adam and Arlene once owned flashing a photo and asking questions. Patrons recognize Arlene in the pic, but say they haven’t seen her. After Mateo leaves, the face-less Arlene shares cocktails with a man.

At David’s hotel room, Dixie asks David to make love to her. David declines, telling Dixie he wants her to really want him, not just an escape to forget Tad. Dixie spends the night in David’s bed while David sleeps on the couch, but it’s not before long that the two end up hot and heavy in each other’s arms.

Tad wants Leslie to confess to Dixie that he and Leslie did not have an affair. Of course Dixie’s nowhere to be found, so they wait at Tad’s house, where Tad discovers the depth of Leslie’s sick obsession and calls the police. When the police arrive, Tad really sees how sick and desperate Leslie is when she cries rape.
