All My Children Update for Friday, 12-Oct-2001

In the park Mateo was knocked out by a disguised Roger. As Roger was stuffing money in Mateo's back pocket, Mateo got a piece of the broken bottle and stabbed Roger with it. Roger got away though and Mateo did not see who it was. Simone saw Mateo and helped him up. Mateo told Simone that he thought Chris was responsible for everything. Simone suggested to a shocked Mateo that they pretend to be having an affair to catch the person. Mateo said no and that he would not ruin his marrige.
Meanwhile at SOS, Bianca and Opal met Erica. Erica was surprised when she found out that they had brought Frankie alone. Bianca explained that Frankie was willing to call a truce with Erica. Erica asked to speak alone with Frankie. As Chris listened in, Erica told Frankie that she would not let her hurt her daughter. Frankie said she was not trying to. Later on after Frankie ran out and Bianca yelled at Erica, Erica saw Chris and asked him to please help Bianca.
Meanwhile Leo pulled Greenlee into another room after she shoved the note in Laura and his face. Leo tore up the letter and yelled at Greenlee. As they argued Laura walked in and a hurt Greenlee watched as Leo happily said to Laura that they would have the big wedding and to start getting ready for it. Later on Greenlee met up with Jake and talked about her problems. Meanwhile at the Du Pres home Laura talked about wedding plans. When Leo stepped away for a moment, Laura pulled out the ripped letter which she had gotten from the trash. Laura was only able to read a piece of it which she kind of misunderstood. It said "Laura I'm leaving you for Greenlee." Laura vowed that Leo would not want to leave her for Greenlee once she was through with Greenlee.
As David and Anna sat down for dinner in his room they also enjoyed some passion. When David stepped away for a moment the phone rang. Anna picked it up and before she could listen to who it was David ran in and angrily grabbed the phone from her. An angry Anna stormed out of the room. Later in the hallway Anna spied as Roger arrived to do buisness with David.
