All My Children Update for Thursday, 25-Oct-2001

Anna and Davis made love and then David had to go. David and Anna kept an eye on each other for a while. Later someone called David and he said to set up a meeting.
Jake and Greenlee went to SOS to eat, but Jake got a page and had to go to the hospital. Jake made Greenlee promise that she would go straight home and she promised. After Jake left a nervous Roger sat down with Greenlee. Greenlee noticed his hand and when she asked what happened he flashed back to when Mateo had stabbed him but lied and said he had accidentally cut himself. Roger gave Greenlee a lot of money and said he had to go. Roger waited in the ally way so Mateo could come out and make a delivery of drugs.
Jake went to the hosptial and Phebeo said she had paged him to refill her heart medication because she was short two pills. After a little information from Pheboe and after flashing back to when Laura had been in the hospital, he realized that Laura had stolen the pills and faked everything. David caught Jake looking through Laura's file and told him he was not allowed on the case.
Brooke asked Laura about who she had been talking to and what she had been doing but Laura made up an excuse and lied. Laura manged to convince Brooke that Greenlee was a manaic and had turned Bianca against her. Brooke lied and said she had to go to work and after Brooke left Laura smirked knowing that Brooke was off to confront Greenlee. Just as Greenlee arrived back at the loft Brooke stormed in after her and threatned her and told her she would not let her hurt her daughter. After Brooke left Greenlee got a phone call from a "nurse" who was really Laura in a disguised voice, who said that Jake had told Greenlee to meet him in front of Leo and Laura's house. Greenlee was a little confused but went over anyway unaware that she was being set up. When Jake got back to the loft he realized that Greenlee was probably at Leo's and raced over. As Laura was skimming down the wedding invation list, she faked surprise and her goody goody act when she saw "Greenlee's" signiture on the list. Leo didnt realize that Laura had forged it and thinking that Greenlee had broken it again he told Laura he would take care of it. Outside Greenlee was surprised to see Leo and was about to explain why she was there when Brooke and two police officers arrived. They told Greenlee she was under arrest as Laura faked confusion about what was going on. Greenlee begged an unsure Leo to tell the cops to go away if he had ever cared about her.
Mateo became angry when the drug dealers called again and hung up on them. Simone yelled at him but he said he knew what he was doing. After flashing back to all the times the drug dealer had called him and how close he had gotten to his loved ones, Mateo got out a gun and went to the alley to wait for the person to pick up the drugs to come, unaware that it was Roger.
