All My Children Update for Friday, 1-Nov-2002

This Friday was G-R-E-A-T! Well let's get to the update.Maria and Edmund join together to stop David. Edmund is shocked by Maria's defense of David. David prevents Edmund from being arrested on assault charges. (How nice?!)Edmund bares his heart to Maria, and he admits he is angry over having her stolen away from him. Of course he would be. Can you blame him?) Anna takes David to her room to treat his wounds. David owns up to his faults and encourages Anna to pursue a future with a man like Jack. (I hope she does't do that. I love Anna and David together. They are a great couple.) Brooke tries to convince Adam, and herself, that they can't continue sleeping together. Brooke, however, is clearly gotten to by Adam's attempt at seduction. (This is one couple that I do not understand. Who saw this one coming, because I sure didn't) Adam convinces Brooke that they deserve to feel alive, and they make love. As Adam leaves, he and Brooke agree not to presume that they have entered into any kind of serious relationship. A brazen Kendall covers for Aidan by acting as his fill-in bartender at the Valley Inn when he abruptly leaves his shift after rejecting the advances of an older female patron. (Who wants Ryan back even if he doe's get with Kendall.)Palmer is impressed by Kendall when she puts Aidan's admirer in her place. Aidan arrives at Kendall's room. (Oh no!)
