All My Children Update for Monday, 9-Dec-2002

Aiden prepares to inject David with his own drug. David tries to reason with Aiden, who is even more thick-headed than usual. Just as Aiden is about to inject the drug, Maria comes in. She decides that SHE wants to inject him. At the last minute, Maria decides she can't go through with it, because doing so would bring her down to David's level. When they try to leave with the vial, David pulls a gun on them. (Finally it's getting interesting!)

Greenlee meets with Trey to discuss his progress in finding the owner of the factory building. Trey lets slip to Greenlee that he has Kendall working on Palmer, who owns the building.

Kendall tries to convince Palmer that she wants to start her own cosmetics company. Palmer smiles as he's reminded of how much Kendall is like Erica. Greenlee and Trey rush in to ask Palmer about the building, but Palmer informs them that he's already leasing the building...to Kendall. Greenlee and Kendall argue about who had the idea to start a cosmetics company first, and even Palmer suggests they go into business together. Neither of them is pleased with the suggestion, but Trey reminds them that Greenlee needs a factory and Kendall needs capital to start a business. After exchanging barbs with eachother, they decide it might be a good idea to go into business together after all.

Liza tries to explain to Mia and Jake that she shoved Mia out the window by accident. Jake is belligerent and Mia can't believe that Liza thought she was having an affair with Adam. After Jake and Mia go back to her room, Liza questions whether she really wanted to hurt her sister, deep down. Tad assures her that it was only an accident and she'd never really intend to hurt Mia. Jake returns in perfect bulldog form to warn Liza to stay away from Mia. Later, cops come and arrest Liza!
