Previously on AMC:

-David and Anna worry about Leora's life chances without her surgery
-Jackson arrests Michael Cambias (or however you spell it) and Michael tells Kendall he knows she did it by stealing the files off his computer, she does nothing to deny it
-Lena tells Bianca she loves her and Bianca says, "DON'T...lie to me."
-Edmund, Maureen/Maria, Maddie, and the police department watch Aidan try to steer the boat as it blows up...

David and Anna:

David and Anna arrive at the hospital, Leora is in Anna's arms, and David's losing it. He says the hospital's not safe for her and that it's crawling with germs and yadda yadda, and Anna can't take it anymore. She says that Leora's going to be fine and that Joe just wants to take a look at her to discuss the surgery, which David tells Anna AGAIN how much he is against it. Anna tells David that if he's not with her on this then he should just go cause she's had enough.

Lena and Bianca:

Lena's looking through some files and Bianca grabs her and says, "What the hell do you think you're doing?"

Michael and Kendall:

Kendall comes in and visits Michael in his prison cell and tells him she wants something from him and that she's not leaving till she gets it.

Edmund, Maureen/Maria, Police Department on Docks:

Maureen/Maria is worried senseless and hears Derek tell the divers not to go near the ship yet. She decides to go try to save Aidan herself but Edmund pulls her back from the water. Maddie begs her not to go.

Lena and Bianca:

Lena informs Bianca that Jackson promises her immunity if she testifies against Michael. Jackson comes out to clarify this. Bianca is disgusted with Lena for AGAIN taking care of herself first, turning against Michael instantly to save her own skin. Jackson tries to leave to let them both talk.

Michael and Kendall:

Kendall gives it to Michael about his father and how his father bonded with Erica over taking him down and that he didn't gain his father's acceptance and will never be as good as his brother to his father. She tells him he's a failure and that he screwed up the family name and only made his father worship his brother more. Michael tells Kendall she's wrong but she tells him she knows what it's like. He tells her he knows what she's really trying to say and that he "accepts" her apology and she laughs as the presumption that that is what she was here for.

David and Anna:

David tells Anna AGAIN to remember all the risks, OH MY GOD David, how many times do we have to go over this, and that's pretty much what Anna says. David begs her not to give Leora the surgery because it will kill her. Anna reminds him he swore he wouldn't go up against her on this and he said he had no choice at that point because she was threatening to throw him in jail. Anna tells him he's either with her on this or he's not, and that's the end of it.

Joe comes out and David starts to talk about the fact that they decided the pacemaker WASN'T the best solution for Leora. Joe says that now that Leora's stronger and her heartrate is still under 85 and not improving, that the surgery is her best bet. David tells Joe that Leora's too fragile and that the surgery's still risky. David then informs Joe that he will be right there while the surgery takes place. (Not a good idea.)

Edmund, Maureen/Maria, Police Department on Docks:

Maureen holds Maddie and tells her that she's not going anywhere. She informs the EMTs that Maddie swallowed water and to help her out. Maddie asks if Aidan got off the boat in time and Maureen tries not to cry as she says that he's gonna be fine. Edmund's supporting Maureen. Derek comes over and tells them they haven't picked up any survivors yet and the fire on the boat is still burning out of control. Edmund tells Maureen that if anyone can pull through, Aidan can. The EMT's say they're gonna take Maddie to the hospital and Maureen wants to go but Edmund says she can stay and wait for Aidan and he'll call. Maureen though is firm about going as she goes over to Maddie, holds her and says, "I'm her mother, I wanna be there."

Michael and Kendall:

Kendall tells Michael that he screwed her up really well by making her think she had to prove herself to him by seducing Boyd, but that he wasn't gonna distort this. Michael tells Kendall she's desperate and she tells him to look at what side of the bars he's on, LOL! Go girl! She then tells him he screwed up because he lost the best thing that he ever had...her. :)

Lena and Bianca:

Bianca tells Lena to get out, Lena professes her love for Bianca and that she's testifying against Michael for BIANCA, not her. Lena tries to explain how messed up she was as a child because her parents couldn't provide for her and that she'd always been a thread from being on the streets and that's why she let Michael suck her in, by using security. Lena tells Bianca that men lie but that women are for love, and that she'll fight for her love with Bianca.

David and Anna and Joe:

Joe tells David he won't be in the operating room but David argues he will. Anna tells him she's too close now and tells him she understands the fear and the worry but that there's a restraining order against him at the hospital, let alone the fact that he is the father and being in the operating room would compromise things. Anna then gets a phone call telling her about Aidan.

Maureen and Maddie:

Edmund stays outside Maddie's hospital room, giving them some mother/daughter time. Maureen tells Maddie how much she loves her and not to worry and that the sooner she goes to sleep, the sooner Aidan will be there. So Maddie closes her eyes and goes to sleep.

We see the hospital door open and Brooke come in just as Dr. Maria emerges, telling the nurse 400 things to do for Maddie in doc language, naming drugs and tests only a doctor could know, then she steps back and apologizes to the nurse for overstepping, but that she's just worried about her daughter. The nurse assures MARIA that everything will be fine.

Brooke comes over to Maria, still calling her Maureen, and says she heard about the accident on the wire and wanted to make sure Maddie was okay. She and Maria talk about what happened and Maria starts talking about other tragic events that happened in MARIA's life and Brooke asks if she remembers. Maria tries to cover up by saying that Edmund told her but Brooke said she heard Maria talking to the nurse...talking like a doctor. Brooke gets big happy tears in her eyes and says, "You remember."

(This Brooke and Maria moment will always be one of my favorite on AMC. That's why I'm writing this update.)

Maria tells Brooke that yeah she does, big tears in both their eyes. She tells Brooke that it happened when she was thrown off the boat into the water, searching for Maddie whom she thought had drowned. And then everything hit her and became clear. Brooke says, "What do I say?" Maria cries and says, "I don't know...hello?" and they both laugh and embrace lovingly, AWWW!

Brooke asks if Maddie knows and Maria says she hasn't told anyone and Brooke wonders if that's because Maria remembers, but still feels nothing for Edmund and Maria says it's the opposite, that she loves him more than anything in the world, then she stops herself, knowing Brooke loves him too and apologizes, but the beautifully-souled Brooke tells her to be happy and welcome home and yadda yadda. Edmund comes back in and Brooke swears not to tell anyone and quietly leaves Edmund and Maria with their daughter.

Michael and Kendall:

Kendall tells Michael she loved him, not that she's happy about it but that she was. He asks her why she's telling him this and she says so she can know the damage he's done. She tells him he almost raped her and he of course denies it, she tells him he's disgusting and arrested and a jerk. He tells her he didn't rape her at all, but that Erica put this in her head.

Lena and Bianca:

Bianca gives her high horse speech on love.

Michael and Kendall:

Michael tells Kendall Erica is using her to get to him. Kendall laughs and wants to know why he thinks Erica would want him. He shoots another nasty remark, tells her she was nothing to him, and she leaves.

Lena and Bianca:

Bianca finishes her speech and shows Lena the door.

Edmund and Maria:

Maria tries to tell Edmund and they keep getting interrupted. He tells her finally that Derek called, they've found a body, there were no survivors and that Aidan's probably dead. He holds her as she cries.

Jack and Bianca:

Little bonding between them...

David and Anna:

David tries to comfort Anna in her worry over Aidan as she holds Leora. David tells Anna he won't fight her anymore, that they'll give Leora the pacemaker and she'll be fine. They hold each other.

Michael and Adam:

Adam Chandler comes to the prison to bail out Michael Cambias.

Edmund and Maria:

Edmund helps Maria and she stops crying, saying they'll find Aidan. She then starts to tell him she's Maria and that she remembers when Aidan walks in the hospital doors and she sees him and runs into his arms.

On The Next Episode...

-Carlos and Greenlee are alone together at Stuart's Gallery
-Kendall tells Erica Michael would seek revenge against her
-Adam makes Michael an offer
-Maria tells Edmund she remembers

Tomorrow, Friday, Maria tells Edmund, that of course is the big cliff hanger, then Monday he sweeps her up into his arms and they make love. Then Tuesday the kids come in and jump on the bed with them and it's one big happy family until Mia walks in...oops. Then Maria and Edmund say goodbye to Aidan and Mia.
