All My Children Update for Thursday, 7-Aug-2003

Erica feels helpless to help Bianca who is still not talking. She goes to Jack's apartment to ask what to do about Bianca. Jack questions whether she's just using Bianca as a way to manipulate him back into her life. She's angry that he'd acuse her of that. And with good reason. She returns home, and talks to her deceased mother's picture, asking just what should she do to help Bianca. Then, suddenly Myrtle appears at her door and informs Erica that she is there to speak for Erica's mother. Erica cries her head off when she talks to Myrtle and actually gets up the courage to say the words, that she's afraid that Bianca has been raped by Michael Cambias.

Bianca is still in major denial, hanging out at Maggie's. Lena goes to see her when she's not there, tells Maggie that she knows something has happened to Bianca that she needs to know and is certain Maggie must know. But Maggie tells her nothing except that Bianca has dumped Lena and wants nothing more to do with her. When Bianca appears, she lies and tells Lena that she and Maggie are a "couple". Lena does not buy that for a minute and probes again just what the big "secret" is. But neither tell her. When Bianca and Maggie are alone, Maggie urges Bianca to come forward, tell her family, stop lying to Lena and admit that she loves Lena. But Bianca's not about to do that.

At Jack's home, Reggie tells Jack that he was very foolish to break it off with Erica and Reggie knows that Jack loves her no matter what he says.

Kendall comes up with a plan for how the FUSION girls can collect on their unpaid debt. By breaking into Michael Cambias's private safe in his home. She has Mia and Simone distract him while she gets into his home. Although she remembers the combination, which she found out without his knowing, she's unable to open it. But Aidan is there to attempt to help her.

Michael's father, Alex Cambias, is seen with some mysterious man whose face is never shown. Alex is very sick and collapses, probably with a heart attack. He finally asks the mysterious man to contact his son. The man calls Michael's home and Kendall answers. Then, at the end we finally see the face of the mysterious man.
