All My Children Update for Friday, 1-Jul-2005

After finding out that Krystal knows she's a fake, Di goes to see Krystal in the slammer and tries to convince her that her "scam" is working in getting JR to pull his head out of his butt. He is actually listening to her and willing to invite Babe and Jamie and their friends and family to a 4th of July picnic. David also goes to see Krystal to urge her not to spill the beans about their little plan. Krystal tells them there is no excuse for what they are doing. She's already learned her lesson the hard way once and is doing time for a similar behavior. ANd she tells them that their plan to falsify Di as Dixie should get them a prison sentence. But she seems to be only making empty threats and realizes that she cannot pass up any opportunity to help her daughter get joint custody of her son, get Tad to "get over" Dixie and marry her and persuade Adam to enable her to get early parole.

Babe, however, has her own plan. She goes to Adam and tells him she can promise to expose Dixie as a fraud and get her out of his life if he can get Krystal out of prison. Adam tells Babe that if she can really "deliver" on that, he will get Krystal out of prison ASAP.

Greenlee announces to Kendall and Simone that she believes that after being artificially inseminsted by David from the sperm cells that Ryan donated and she stole from the clinic, that she is pregnant. She still hasn't told Ryan. Her friends are concerned that it won't be the magical solution she believes it is.
