All My Children Update for Tuesday, 5-Jul-2005

After overhearing Livia remind her mother that she didn't want Danielle when she was born and questioned if Derek was her real father, Danielle is upset. She isolates from Reggie, starts drinking, goes off on her own to meet Josh Madden and shacks up with him. Reggie wants her to go home with him and tells her he needs to make sure that Lily is ok because he's discovered that Sam is drinking and has stole Brooke's car keys. WHen Brooke finds out what Sam is up to, she tells him she must ground him and informs him that her little girl was killed because somebody mistakenly believed they could handle drinking and driving.

Adam demands to know Babe's secret. He informs JR that Babe said she had evidence that Di/Dixie is not the real Dixie. Hearing that, Babe pretends to JR that she has no clue what Adam is talking about, she believes Di is the real Dixie and that he must listen to his mommy and stop being a jerk. At that point, JR has no reason to believe that Babe told his father that Di/Dixie is a fake. JR has a private conversation with Di/Dixie, finds out she is still in love with Tad and realizes that although he cannot forgive Tad, he should "honor" the man his mother loves. So he announces that he will have a party at his new home for his son, everybody is invited and he will name Tad and Dixie as little Adam's godparents. Hearing that, Adam agrees to help Babe get Krystal out of prison if she can help him confirm that that woman is a fake so that she will get out of their lives and he can get his son back.
