All My Children Update for Friday, 8-Jul-2005

Erica gets the whole family to be with her for her launch party for New Beginnings. But Greenlee has to leave and throw up. Kendall knows right away the reason why. Erica follows them into the room where Greenlee is staying and puts two and two together. She seems positive about Greenlee's decision to get pregnant and doesn't have any worries about what Ryan will do when he finds out. She obviously must not know everything involved. Kendall makes sure that Ryan has no clue that his wife is pregnant. SHe tells him Greenlee had some bad sushi on the way to the party. Ryan doesn't seem to buy that. Jack comes to see if his daughter is ok and Erica believes that now that everybody is together, that it's the right time for everybody to know that Greenlee is pregnant.

At the party, Danielle runs into Josh Madden and reveals to him that she was a virgin, he was her first, it was a mistake and that she has a boyfriend. He seems sensitive about it. Lily is able to see them together touching each other. Reggie asks her if she's seen Dani. And she tells him what she saw. WOnder what's going to happen when Erica finds out her right-hand-man messes around with minors!!! Especially when it's her STEPSON'S GIRLFRIEND, no less. Hopefully she'll fire Josh. Kind of odd, though. Josh could be seen like a PIG sleeping with a young girl. But he DID seem NICE, like he DIDN'T just want to get in her pants. I know Erica is very protective of Reggie. And he will be VERY upset when he finds out what Dani did behind his back.

Also, Di/Dixie confirms what Babe and Krystal have revealed to Adam; that she is Krystal's old cell mate, Di Kirby and she pulled off a scam with David to make everybody believe she was Dixie. David tells them all that he really believed she was the real Dixie. Hearing this is too much for Tad, JR and Jamie to swallow. Tad asks her who she really is when she is not pulling off scams. She reveals that she might be the real Dixie and not Di Kirby. THAT ought to be AMAZING. I've been a LITTLE confused about this whole storyline. Remembering when she was in the slammer with Krystal, she was spying upon both Tad and David, as if she knew them, very careful to make herself unseen by both of them, just as the real Dixie might be doing with the two men in her life, knowing they both believe she'd dead. I guess ONLY time will tell.
