Krystal tells David that she knows better than to believe that the woman who alleges she is Dixie really is Dixie. And she tells him he must also know that she is not the real Dixie. She tells him she knows that if that were really Dixie, then he’d be all over her and would not just be sitting by and letting Tad bird-dog her. David laughs but neither confirms nor denies what she says.

JR goes out to the patio. Adam asks his son if Dixie has managed to talk him out of moving. JR confirms that he still plans to be leaving Adam’s house, with his mother tomorrow.

Ryan is able to spy upon Greenlee and not be seen by her. But he DON’T seem to realize that his AUTISTIC, teenage SISTER in law is TOO CLEVER for him! Lily CATCHES him. She can clearly see him and he DON’T know what to say or do when he sees her!

Dixie takes Tad to the hospital to treat his gunshot wound and they argue all the way. Joe comes to take care of his son but notices how the two of them are still at it like husband and wife. She tells her “former father in law” that she knows there’s no reason for anesthetic with “this one”. She remembers Tad’s “macho-ism” in refusing painkillers. .

David reminds Krystal that she made the choice to put Tad and Adam before him and their daughter. And her attempt to EXPOSE Dixie could have ruined their daughter’s chances of being able to see her son and be able to reap the “benefits” which JR and Adam would never give her if Dixie were not really back. Krystal reminds David that it was Babe’s own idea to expose Dixie as a fraud. And she tells him if he hopes to ever recover any shred of respect from their daughter, he better start telling the truth.

Adam tells JR that he knows that that woman is Dixie. But before the DNA test confirmed it, he needed proof and had reason to have doubts. JR tells his father that he only wanted to do whatever he could do in order to come between him and his mother. Adam tells his son that he knows he’s angry with him. But he must realize that he cannot take from his father the only family he has left; his son and grandson. JR tells his father that if he thinks he can sell them out for the umpteenth time, he’s got another thing coming. But at that point, Adam seems to want to plead to his son not to leave him. He tells him he will not be able to live with the loneliness and urges JR not to leave him.

Kendall brings Greenlee a big teddy-bear and tells her that she wants to make her baby alive and welcome. She notices by Greenlee’s expressionless face that she doesn’t know what to think. She assumes that Greenlee has a problem. But Greenlee cries and puts her arms around Kendall and tells her that that is the nicest, kindest, most considerate thing anybody has ever done for her.

In the dark, by the gazebo, after Lily has CAUGHT Ryan, she asks him if it’s really him. He does not speak. He’s too stunned to know what to say to her. She tells him that he doesn’t even look like a ghost. He looks so real. She tells him that she will have to tell Greenlee that he is alive and well and that she will be so happy. Ryan just stares speechless at her, not knowing what to say. Right then, Zach enters and discovers that Ryan completely ignored his “suggestions” to keep himself scarce and got caught red- handed just like he warned him he would. Lily tells Zach that now that they both know that Ryan is ok, they must go and find Greenlee. Zach knows that he must somehow persuade Lily not to tell anybody that Ryan is still alive and comes up with some “speech” about how they must let Greenlee grieve the loss of her husband. He tells her that when a ghost reappears, people don’t need to know about it. He asks Ryan to confirm that he’s just there to make sure that his wife is getting on ok without him.

Greenlee tells Kendall that they both must always think about Ryan and remember how they both miss him. She tells Kendall it’s ok for her to have feelings about him and his death. She then asks Kendall to be her child’s Godmother. Kendall looks at Greenlee not knowing what to say.

David tells Krystal he’s sorry to disappoint her. But he has no smoking gun and cannot defy the results of three DNA tests. She tells him she does not buy it and knows he’s hiding something. He asks her what he needs to do in order to prove to her that he’s telling the truth. He then comes up with a plan and takes out his truth serum. He reminds her that he knows how to get the truth out of anybody with that stuff. He suggests that he mixes them both up a batch. That way he gets to know all of the secrets that she keeps about their one and only child. And she gets to know all of his secrets about Dixie Cooney Martin.

Dixie tells Tad that she was really worried about him when he got shot. She’s sounding just like she really has had the history with him that only Dixie would know.

Just then, at David’s, Krystal tells him she refuses to take his truth potion. She does not trust anything he does. But he tells her he will go ahead and take some himself. He drinks it and admits that he may have made it too strong. She then asks him what his big secret is with that woman

JR tells his father that he will never forgive him for letting Krystal get out of jail soon. And the reason he had for doing that didn’t benefit anybody. It’s just that Adam would stop at nothing just to keep him from his mother. Adam protests that he did not like wanting to doubt Dixie either. But when he found out that that woman had been in prison, he couldn’t trust her around his grandson. JR must realize that he had reason to question Dixie’s authenticity. JR tells his father that he’s already learned enough from his father’s “trust nobody” attitude. And he tells him that he and little Adam are history. He doesn’t want his son growing up in Adam’s world. Hearing that, Adam tells JR that he can have the house. He will leave.

Greenlee and Kendall are in a room surrounded by baby toys and cribs. Kendall asks Greenlee if she really trusts her as her child’s godmother. She says yes and they even has a doll that they can both practice “mothering” with.

Lily tells Zach and Ryan that she believes that there really are ghosts. And luckily, she buys into what Zach tells her and believes that she does not see the same living, breathing Ryan that existed before. Zach suggests she talks to “Ryan’s ghost” telling him that he must not worry about Greenlee and the baby and maybe assure him that his “widow” is doing well. Lily then tells “Ryan’s ghost” that Greenlee really misses him and told him she loved him more than life itself, whatever that means. And she tells him that he must know that Greenlee is having a baby. And that’s what can get her through. It’s a part of him that Greenlee can always hold onto even if she cannot hold onto the real Ryan anymore. She tells the “ghost” that she observes that he looks sad. But he MUSTN’T worry. Greenlee has her and their dad and Erica and Kendall and Reggie and Bianca and Miranda and Zach. They all love her and will take care of her. She turns to Zach and asks if that was ok. I MUST SAY that ZACH is pretty clever also! He actually got Lily to believe she saw a ghost. He tells her that was great. Right then, Ryan leaves and Zach is able to convince Lily that Ryan’s ghost just came to visit for a while, and then disappeared. He tells her it would only upset Greenlee if anybody tells her that they’ve seen his ghost. And he convinces her not to tell anybody what she just saw. Boy! Was Ryan LUCKY to run into somebody who BELIEVES in GHOSTS! And who can be persuaded to keep quiet! What if it had been Greenlee?? Kendall?? Jack?? Erica??!! THEY wouldn’t shut up! Good thing Lily LISTENED to ZACH! And when both Sam (her BOYFRIEND) and REGGIE (her BROTHER whom she listens to) TRIED to convince her that GHOSTS DON’T EXIST! What if he’d been seen by REGGIE or SAM???!!! Ya think THEY’D believe he’s a ghost, keep their mouths shut and go away?

Kendall tells Greenlee that she will be there for her to help her take care of the baby, throughout the pregnancy and birth. And if Greenlee screws something up, she tells her she will knock her silly.

Dixie and Tad sound just like they are the couple that lost each other.

After David has drugged himself right before her eyes, Krystal believes she will get the truth out of him. He then attempts to make her think he’s serious when he tells her that he’s no longer concerned about Dixie because he’s got the hots for her, instead. He keeps a straight face and gets her to believe that he is serious until he breaks out laughing. She gets really angry with him, tells him she hates his guts and leaves while he laughs his butt off.

JR asks his father why he and his son should stay. Adam tells his son without him and little Adam there, this house will not be a home. It will just be a mausoleum. JR does not seem to buy his father’s sincerity. But Adam tells his son, he’s not going to live in that house alone without him. He’ll just go mad. It’s JR’s inheritance anyway. So if JR wants to have him gone, JR can live in this house without him. He tells JR that if he “goes”, he will also have to go somewhere. But if JR stays in this house, then perhaps Adam can come and visit his grandson from time to time. JR then tells his father he’s made his point. And he tells Adam he may go and pack. Hearing that, Adam tells his son he agrees to leave first thing in the morning and will get the title transferred to JR’s name. JR asks his father if he really plans to leave and give up all that money. Adam tells his son he does not give a damn about money. This is about family. This is about love. He asks JR why it’s so hard for him to grasp that concept. He tells him he will not make a scene in the morning. He just wants to say goodbye to little Adam. JR then agrees to let his father keep the house. He tells him they will stay. But Adam needs to make him a promise. He must treat JR’s mother with the respect she deserves. Adam agrees to do that for his son and his grandson. He seems like he is actually serious.

Zach takes Lily aside and she tells him that she sensed a ghost at wild wind. She admits she did not see a ghost as vivid as seeing Ryan just now. She says she just saw a shirt move on the staircase. She thought it might be Edmund Gray. But Sam did not believe that his father’s ghost came back. She suggests that maybe she should attempt to make Sam’s dad’s ghost come back just like she was able to notice Ryan’s ghost. But she tells him she knows Sam does not like the idea of ghosts. Hearing that, Zach tells her he will go to wildwind by himself and see if he can find any “ghosts”. Looks like Lily and Zach are going to be “ghost buddies”!

Right then, Ryan returns to the empty room where Zach had previously kept him. He remembers hearing Lily telling him that Greenlee told her she really misses him and she loves him more than life itself.

Kendall and Greenlee open up boxes of baby clothes. Greenlee gets a daydream about all of the memories she’s had of her relationship with Ryan throughout the entire time they’ve known each other until they got married. And she remembers how their love evolved throughout their marriage. She remembers when Ryan finally confirmed to her that he loved her as more than just a friend and business partner in their marriage. She is now the love of his life. She relives her memories of everything. She remembers their arguments about her distrust of Jonathan and his refusal to turn against his brother and believe that Jonathan tried to kill her. Then when Ryan rescued her, Kendall and Lily from his psycho-brother. Then Jonathan died and made Ryan believe he’d failed his brother who loved him more than anything and that he killed Jonathan. Then Ryan declared to Greenlee that he will never, ever consider having a baby with her. He knows whom he could turn into and declares to her that the Lavery line ends there. Then she remembers the horror of discovering him at the fight club. Then she relives when he almost beat her after finding out she was pregnant. Then she remembers his going off the cliff on his motorcycle.

While Adam is alone on the patio, Krystal appears. He asks her what she has found out about Dixie. She replies nothing yet but she still knows he’s hiding something. She informs him that David seemed to be having way too much fun to be a “loser” when she went to attempt to get the goods from him. He tells her he’s just given her $10,000 for nothing. But she protests to him that she does not plan to give up and wants to get to the truth as much as he does in finding out if that woman really is Dixie.

Tad and Dixie seem as though they are getting right back to the way things would have been for them.

Kendall and Greenlee confirm that they can be friends and that they really love each other.

Ryan tells Zach that he’s sorry he had to lie to Lily. Zach tells Ryan the truck is still waiting. Ryan tells Zach not to worry. He will go away and not come back.
